During services on Sunday morning, Junior Church provides a separate space for some of the youngest members of our congregation to learn about Jesus, his works and our relationship with him and our Heavenly Father. This usually involves games, stories and a variety of craft activities which sometimes includes cooking. We normally leave the rest of the congregation during the first part of the morning service and study the same subject matter as the older congregation, but in an age-appropriate manner using the resources from the Roots ecumenical partnership.
We have a small, dedicated team of leaders and helpers who take Junior Church, providing our young people with a variety of faces, styles and experiences.
As Christians, our lives in Christ consist of a constant exploration and developing understanding of our faith. There is always something new to learn. Junior Church helps to equip our young people with a good foundation for their individual walks with Christ.
